Voice your Choice is a year long campaign with a mission of registering 2 million voters by the end of 2010 to be prepared for the next general elections, or rather to be ready to Voice their Choice. This effort was the product of much worrying and care for the future of the country. According to the Election Commission (EC) Deputy Chairman, Dato Wan Ahmad Wan Omar in a report dated in January 2010, 4.39 million or some 28% of Malaysians over the age of 21 have yet to register as a voter. These are alarming statistics which we believe we have to do something about. To put things into perspective, the state of Selangor itself has an estimated 787,000 unregistered voters. This is a strictly non- partisan effort and done by the youth of Malaysia for ALL Malaysians regardless of race, age or gender. Here is your chance to do something great in the midst of a challenge. Help us fill up and be part of the 2 million. |
